Every year I always blogged about Pasinaya. I think except last year. I don't know why. Maybe I was on a hectic schedule on work or they did not participate. I forgot the reason.hehehe If you want to see my recent posts, you can click (2011) HERE and (2012) HERE!

Our memorabilia from Pasinaya! with Instax Photos! :)

Sbarro and Tender Juicy (I think I was hungry that's why I took photos of this)

Hungry Rover Gastrobus (They were featured on Kris TV)

Jasper's House of Chicken too bad I did have the chance to eat here. I am hoping one day I could have a foodie adventure with food trucks. I remember this guy has a wonderful story. He stopped working and started some small businesses after his son had a fatal accident or sickness (either of the two). haha I just recalled it when I saw it on the venue. I watched that episode on KrisTV. haha What a brave father he is for sacrificing his high salary work for his time with his son. Bravo!

Inside the CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines)

Remember the post about The Great British Festival? They did the same dances. hehehe

Look at these graceful ballerinas

My sister

I am so proud with this shot! hahaha It feels like they are flying!

Curtain call.

The dances usually ranges to 30 minutes. People are also allowed to take photos. Usually if you watch it on regular days, cameras nor camera phones are not allowed to be used during the show. You don't want any usherette to come near you tell you to stop doing it. It would be embarrassing. During Pasinaya, photographers are everywhere to take photos of the colorful event because it is open house. They are maximizing the once in a year opportunity that CCP has given to them to take photos, except if you got hired by CCP to cover the event. I hope you enjoyed my post. Till next time!

Map Pattern Leather Bag from Tmart.com

Heyaaaa! Happy Monday everyone! Even though I am not a fan of Mondays because I always have Monday blues. (You know, too lazy to get up and work kind of thing. Hehe) Today, let us start the week right! Blogging time!

Last week was a busy week. Yes, I was busy. Busy with eating, sleeping, watching dvd, conducting photoshoot with my sister for an OOTD post, playing apps on my ipad and a lot more. I love holidays! I hope we have Holy Week every month. Hihi Anyways, let’s talk about the title of this post. My new bag from Tmart.com is the new item to review. I received it a few days I go. Well actually, I picked it up on the post office. I immediately used it to make a review to feel its vibe and its durability.

I'm a fatso. looks like I don't have anything under my short polo. =)) but I have denim shorts. :)

So how was it? It looks small but I can put a lot of stuffs in it like my cellphones, ipad, makeup kit, comb and charges. I also like the two pockets on the sides. The pattern of the bag is so unique. I can use it everywhere or anywhere. It won’t be hard to pair it with other clothes. However, I think too heavy items on the bag will not make the bag last for a long time, if it is used every day.

It is me. modeling the bag somewhere in Alabang. Have you noticed my hair? I had a hair cut, few weeks ago and I love it! I decided to cut it because of the weather in our country. Effin, hot! ( I will blog about my hair on a separate post!)

By the way, I thought they will be sending a makeup bag but on the very last minute it changed.

The verdict: 3.5 stars out of 5 stars

I have been dreaming to have an Instax from Fujifilm for the past few months now. Until I was searching the internet then found this Instax Bundle for only P 4, 300 on Revamp’s page! I got excited! Before seeing it, I was browsing Lazada, unfortunately the color blue was out of stock at that time. However, I am thankful with Revamp for the bundle that includes film, close up lens, strap and colorful stickers. Wooohooo! Jackpot! I saved a few bucks compared to buying on the mall that cost P 4, 100 for just for the Instax and without the freebies. So I contacted Justine, confirmed my order and finally paid it that weekend. After 2-3 days, I got the package already! It was absolutely easy and fast transaction.

Here's the freebies with Instax Mini 8 bundle: Instax Mini Film (cost P300-500), colorful stickers (cost P100+) and close up lens (cost P300). Included for free!!!! I am so happy with my purchase.

What's inside the box? The camera, 2 AA batteries, manuals and strap

Moreover, let’s talk more about the Instax Mini 8. To those who are not aware of this camera, let me give you an idea. Back in the days, it was famously called Polaroid. But Fujifilm revived it and made a mini version of the wide film that Polaroid usually used. The Fujifilm mini film version is as small as the credit card. They made it cute and colorful. Here are the specs for the Instax Mini 8 (from Photojojo)
  • Use with colorful and vibrant Fuji Instax Mini film (ISO 800)
  • High resolution lens
  • Manually Set Exposure Control
  • Built in light meter with LED indicator to suggest the best setting
  • Constant firing flash with automatic brightness adjustment
  • Film dimensions - 2 1/18" x 3 1/4" (compared to Polaroid 600 film which is 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" and     Instax Wide film which is 4 1/4" x 3 1/4")
  • Focus range: far range 2' - Infinity (.6m - Infinity)
  • Powered by two AA batteries (included)
  • Weighs less than 1 lb
  • 4.6 x 4.7 X 2.7 inches
  • Strap included
  • Available colors: black, pink, yellow, blue, white

We used it during my mom's birthday celebration with my la familia. My mom sponsored the films too. We got lucky because there was a promo. If you buy 2 films (20 sheets) it will only cost P600, so without any hesitation we bought it somewhere in Mall of Asia. In other stores they were selling 1 film for P 500. Expensive.

Pros: Instant photos no need for a printer. Easy to use.
Cons: Expensive film. You only have one shot on everything.

I love taking photos. I will just used it wisely and during special occasions. hihi I am wanting to have a photo wall ever since I started taking photos using my Instax. If it push thru, I will blog about it, of course!

The Verdict:

4.5 stars out of 5 stars (Just because of the expensive film)

Time for a movie review! When I saw this movie on my facebook feeds, I got curious. I searched it on google and watched the trailer. I was convinced to give it a try. Well, I just got a copy from my colleague. So what can I say about the movie Her?

It was a movie about a guy Theodore Twombly, he works at a letter company. He writes some personal letters to their clients. He is good at it. One day, he got a new operating system and it has a name. It was Samantha. It was a newly developed OS that has feelings and can interact to its owner like a human being. She is smart (of course, she’s a computer), funny and caring for an OS. Samantha was played by the voice of Scarlett Johansson. Because Theodore was in a process of moving on from a long relationship, he and Samantha became friends. Then, their relationship became deeper and blooms into- not-your-typical-love-story.

For me, it was a little weird. It if will happen in the near future, gosh! I think people will be scared to have a real relationship. The climax of the story was not that exciting. (Spoiler Alert) This was the twist of the story, Theodore realized and Samantha admitted that she is also inlove with other users of the OS. Samantha was not that loyal because she can multitask. Even technology can’t be trusted.hehe But it has a unique storyline that you want to try watching it. You should watch this movie to know the other details.

Main Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde more…

Awards: Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay - Motion Picture, Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay, Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Screenplay, ADG Excellence in Production Design Awards - Contemporary Film

Here's the trailer. Watch it.

The Verdict: 4 stars out of 5 stars

Theodore Twombly without the mustache. Is he hot? He is Joaquin Phoenix in real life.

What do you think?

a cup of peppermint tea

Another foodie adventure for me and my family, after we ate at Bi Won Korean Restaurant, we headed to Larcy’s Cupcakery Café for dessert. Yes, I know you might think, “Grabe naman ‘to mga ‘to ang sisiba!”. Hahaha That’s okay, we were born this way. Love us or hate us food is still our obsession. Hahahaha Who doesn’t like eating, right? Especially if you will see the delectable cupcakes from Larcy’s. Just like the last post about Bi Won, we also went here because of Kris TV and curiosity of my grandma. Well, I think this isn’t my first time. We also went here for the little kiddo on the last photo of this post. Hehe Anyways, Larcy’s have a nice vibe and interior. It is girly and cute. Most of the interiors of cupcake shops has feminine and cozy aura. I think a person who visits those places feels more relax. The cupcakes tasted good, perfect for a cup of tea.

Heyaaa! I am so happy that I have posted something on my blog after two days. Uraurada! As in agad agad, post na! (This is it! Hahaha) I am hoping to be consistent on my schedule of blogging. My goal is 2 or 3 times a week, I can post something on my blog. So just in case I am busy, I am creating some of my post in advance. For today, I prepared an #OOTD post. I wore my outfit on the event of “The Great British Festival”. The event was held on the open grounds so I decided to wear something casual and comfy. It ended around 7pm, there was no daylight until I saw the spotlight. Yey! Perfect spot!

My CUTE shirt from Zara.

The shirt was too low for a V-neck and I don't want my boobs saying "Hi" to everyone so I wore a tube (the orange one) from Terranova. I bought in during a sale for around 60php to 95php, I can't remember the exact amount. It was so cheap, right?

Thanks for the spotlight!

My last post of #OOTD was look # 18 (Let it go). I was wrong, it should me look # 32. I got confused. haha Sorry for  a little bit confusion I made, just in case you have noticed it. hehe Tee-hee!
