It is the time of the year for our yearly family tradition, Visita Iglesia. I love visiting Churches especially if it is my first time. As the elders said, you can make a wish for anything, if it is your first time to visit a church. Imagine if you have 7 or more churches to visit, it means more wishes to come or it can have a huge chance that it will come true for wishing the same thing. Moreover, holy week is for remembering Christ suffering on earth for all of us so repent and be save! We should always be sorry for your sins. Don't forget to thank God for all the blessings you have been receiving. God is good, all the time!

Let's get going, shall we?

St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church - Gen. Trias, Cavite

I grew up with this church because before moving to Manila, I went to the school besides this church. We always walk, run and play around the vicinity. Childhood days. Oh, how I miss to have fun and to be carefree just like a kid again.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Church - Gen. Trias, Cavite

Funny story - When we were at the this church, we were looking for the station of the cross. Then, suddenly this little girl shouted. "Hi, princess!" "Mommy, oh princess!" I didn't notice she was looking at me. Suddenly, I saw her and I looked at her. She waved at me and said again, "Hi, Princess!" With a puzzled face, "Huh!? is she really thinks I am a princess?" hahaha I heard her mother, kept telling her. "No, she is not a princess." Maybe because of my long skirt, she thought I was a princess. I felt awkward in a while. haha

Inside Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Church - it has a lot of religious paintings and a huge prayers on the center

St. Mary Magdalene Parish Church - Amadeo, Cavite

Inside St. Magdalene Parish Church - The altar has the golden touch.

St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Church - Trece Martices City, Cavite

Inside St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Church - as they say, people who feels hopeless (walang pag-asa) gives a devotion to St. Jude to help them with their wishes or request. This is true. All you have to do is believe and have a little faith. :)

San Gregorio Magno Parish Church - Indang, Cavite

Inside San Gregorio Magno Parish Church - the interior is so majestic.

Immaculate Conception Church - Naic, Cavite

Inside Immaculate Conception Church - Look at the wonderful flower arrangement :)

St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Church - Manggahan, Gen. Trias, Cavite
(it is under renovation that time)

Our last stop, we spent our few hours here at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Chruch. We were just in time for the mass and for the washing of the feet. Most of the time we usually end our visita iglesia with a mass. For everyone, just a bit of advise, start it early and bring some prayer books for the station of the cross. In addition, pack some food or snacks and jug of water just in case anyone got hungry and thirsty. Plan your Visita Iglesia ahead and avoid the crowded place! I hope you enjoyed reading my post.

How about you? What's your tradition during holy week?

May 5, 2014, Manila, Philippines – Market-leading economy mobile device innovator DTC further solidifies its position in the global mobile industry as it unveils five key local professional basketball athletes as its first brand ambassadors in an exclusive media event at the Diamond Hotel in Manila. All renowned icons of their own league, DTC chose the quintet for their dedication, revolutionary style and powerful performance – similar traits shared by DTC. Today officially marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between DTC and the five ballers as they formally enter an exclusive ambassadorship contract with the mobile device giant.

The all-star ambassador roster showcases one player each from five outstanding teams, including Rain or Shine shooting guard Ryan Araña, Air 21 point guard Simon Atkins, Talk ‘N Text power forward Rommel Niño “KG” Canaleta, 3-time PBA All-Star Meralco Bolts shooting guard Gary David, and 11-time PBA All-Star Redbull point guard Willie Miller.

This is the first time that DTC has launched its own ambassadors since the company’s founding in 2011, making the said athletes the company’s pioneer advocates. Their addition is expected to bring the brand closer to its consumers. As five of the most exceptional players in the league, they symbolize active but practical living, which DTC consumers also exemplify.

Ferdinand Buensalida Jr., General Manager for DTC, elaborates on the partnership: “DTC is a brand that capitalizes on a strong commitment to customer satisfaction through the power of innovative technology and human ingenuity. We consider our people as one of our best assets.”

He adds, “picking our pioneer ambassadors came as a no-brainer. They are all the crème de la crème of their field and we are honored to welcome more people into our team who share our mission of putting dedication, skills, performance, style and creativity at the heart of everything. These fine gentlemen are an epitome of what DTC is all about, and we’re glad that more than affiliates, they are now friends of the brand.”

Only a few months shy of its third anniversary in the industry, DTC anticipates a more power-packed year with the addition of their first brand ambassadors, plus new smart gadgets in the pipeline, which are expected for release before the third quarter of 2014 ends.
