I discovered Photobook Worldwide, few years ago through Metrodeal site. I bought 10 small photobook softbound for 20php. Am I lucky or what? Well, it took me few months to finish one project because I was pregnant back then so my morning sickness was a huge hindrance in my everyday life. I think, out of 10 vouchers I only used 7 vouchers from Metrodeal. Some of the photobook was duplicated and I gave the extra copies to my family.

I am always looking for the special deal with Photobook Worldwide. I am waiting for the huge sale as always. The regular price is a little bit expensive. Patiently waiting is worth it.

For me, printing the photos are much better that keeping it and losing it in somewhere in my computer with the other files. This is why, I decided to compile and print it with Photobook Worldwide / Photobook Philippines. They have a lot of products to choose from too.

I also printed our travel adventures in Japan and Jeju Island, Korea. I also printed photos of my baby Stella and her baptismal. My next project will be our wedding photos that did not reach the cut for the hardbound album, Stella's 1 year old celebration and my first ever cruise with hubby.

The Verdict: 

My orders arrived less than 7 days. I was surprised it arrived early, so bravo! It was delivered by DHL. According to the tracking status of my orders, it was from Singapore. The second batch I ordered recently was from Malaysia. In addition, they were easy to transact with. No issues at all. I tried using the software for my desktop and used also their app from my cellphone for my layout. I have not encountered any problems at all. I also scored free print of 50pc 5Rs photos by just downloading the app from my phone. As of now, I have printed 7 photobook plus 2 photobook I gave to my mom and 50pcs 5Rs from them. I am looking forward to print more. The only cons, I could share would be the shipping fee that cost around 200+ bucks per transaction. They do not charge it by address. For example, I have 5 photobooks to checkout for the day. They will not charge it for one shipping fee. The shipping fee will be also 5 x 200+ = 1000+php, unless one of the photobook will have 2 copies. That is the only time to share the shipping fee. I suggest they enhance their website for one address one shipping fee. Hahaha

This series is an adaptation of Gerard Way’s famous comic book named The Umbrella Academy. In addition, to those people who don’t know Gerard Way he is the one and only vocalist of the band called My Chemical Romance. Who doesn’t know Helena and Black Parade? Gosh! You are living under a rock. Haha or I’m just starting to be a Tita or maybe only people with my age range knows him like 19-ish?? hahaha. Char! Anyways, back to the series… 

 It started in the year 1989, there are 43 infants born randomly and instantly because the entire woman who got pregnant doesn’t show any signs of pregnancy before they gave birth. A billionaire named Sir Reginald Hargreeves, tried to adopt every one of them but only seven babies were adopted. He was the one created the Umbrella Academy, to prepare and groom them to save the world. Fast forward in the present, he died that is the reason why his children gather again for his wake and to remember him. During his burial, number five suddenly appeared from the future. He told some of his siblings that apocalypse is coming. End of intro. Hahaha I will stop here to avoid being a spoiler.

The Verdict:

The series is different from others. It started a little weird but once you continued it, you will get hooked for sure, because that’s what happened to me. Haha I just got curious for Gerard Way was the creator of the storyline. I did not expect that it would be action packed episodes. It has too much mystery, because some of the character’s background is not that developed yet. I am also expecting it will give light to the characters on the 2nd season. It has suspense, thriller, mystery, action, time travelling and many more. I could compare it with X-Men, it has the recipe of powers plus the word apocalypse and someone guiding them like professor X. Do you agree? In addition, I really enjoyed the twist of the stories. I love it! I will definitely wait for the next season. By the way, I love the OST.

Kingdom from Netflix is about a crowned prince, who was looking for his father but never seen him for years. He tried to join a rebellion against his father. He started to investigate about his father’s whereabouts. He was looking for clues. However, he discovered a mysterious disease was lurking into the kingdom. It made the dead alive again during the night and sleep during the day. They eat the living and turn them like one of them, in short, zombie mode. I won’t spoil you guys. Just watch the series to know the whole story. Hihi

The Verdict:

One of the best and trilling series I have ever watched. Ganda besh! It’s like the movie Train To Busan slash Game of the Thrones mash up. Walking Dead seems like the series to compare with but they have different behavior of zombies, in this series they were super-duper active. They run to kill and eat you alive. OMG! It made me really tired watching this series. Haha I want to run with them to be saved too. They still have a lot of mysteries to unravel. So I am certainly looking forward for the season 2 of this series. It is worth it to watch it especially if you like Kdramas.

We celebrated my mother-in-law’s 50th birthday in Bellevue Manila Hotel. It was a simple family gathering. It was an overnight stay. It was a short but fun and relaxing at the same time. Here are the photos taken during our stay. Enjoy!

The next day, breakfast buffet time! The favorite time of the day when we are staying on a hotel. I just love breakfast.

Facilities and amenities:

The Bellevue Manila Hotel has really a luxurious vibes on the place. Besides, the price was not that cheap but I think it was a worthy stay, especially if you will stay all day long on the hotel to maximize facilities and amenities. They have also a happy hour with free cocktails and booze. The food was amazing. It tasted good. I love buffets. Beds were so soft and comfortable. I enjoyed using the bathtub. I also brought my own bath bombs. What else? Hmmm… the location was great too because it is in Alabang, Muntinlupa. It is accessible. If you are a little cheapskate, there are also fast foods near the hotels, to avoid overspending in food meals in the hotel. Will I recommend this hotel? Yes. Will I go back to have a staycation again? Yes, of course.

Few weeks ago, we stumbled upon a movie called The Battleship Island. At first, we don’t have any idea of the storyline of the film. According to the reviews I have read, it was about the Koreans who suffered under forced labor of Japanese in the coal mines during World War II.

It sounds interesting so we tried to watch it

It was a story of survival. I can’t believe the treatment of the Japanese to Koreans during those days, they were really ruthless and out of control. Actually, it was based on true events. Living life during those times are really hard. We are lucky enough that war is not always an option in our generation.

The Verdict:

The story revolves with father and daughter duo, who were entertainers during the war. They were sent to the battleship island even they have a permission to be excluded because Korean/Japanese government requires them to work in the coal mines in Hashima Island in Japan. Lee Kang-ok (Hwang Jung-min) is a very caring father. He loves her daughter so much. He keeps on protecting her even though he is willing to let her daughter be adopted by the high ranking soldier. Choi Chil-sung (So Ji-sub) is really handsome street fighter. Hahaha He has a good heart but a little hot-headed person. I was surprise that Song Jooing-ki was also in the movie as Park Moo-young, he was a member of the Korean independence movement, and added to that he was a special person who will help them to escape the island.

Anyways, I enjoyed the storyline. No situation will be questioned because everything was plotted in a very intelligent way. Pak na pak ang ganap at ang aksyon hahaha (I like the action scenes.) Action, drama and comedy even suspense, the movie has it. I won’t regret watching it. To think that it really happened in real life. I felt devastated for those people who died to save themselves and died to save their love ones. Today, the battleship island is now a UNESCO World Heritage in Nagasaki, Southern Japan.

After all the discussions of what color of the linen, what food to serve, what chair and center pieces to use, what position or layout of the tables and some other additional request.. Ta-daaaaa! Here is the final product. On the wedding day itself, our wedding day! Loveeeeee it! （╹◡╹）♡ They executed it well and without any hindrance. I think this was their first time to style and cater at Versailles in Daang Hari, Alabang.

The view when you entered the place - there is a place for washing, drying, waiting and folding. 

We bought a kleankard for only 100php and loaded it for 500php for future use.

Those are the washers. Put your soap and fabric conditioner. Select the mode of the washing machine plus the temperature of the water. I read that cold water should be for dark colors while warm or hot temperature should be for white and light colored clothes. Then, tap your kleankard and press start. It is around 30 minutes for the normal spin.

If you need assistance, just ask them. They are also selling drinks and few snacks and also some soap and fabric softener. 

Here is the dryer side. Put everything in the dryer. For around 20 minutes or more. It depends on how many pieces of clothes or how thick are the clothes, just tap the card for additional 5 to 10 minutes. Then, press start. It has also a selection of how warm will it be. When everything is done. It is up to you, if you will fold all the clothes. They have a table for folding. Sanitized it first before placing the clothes in the table. *wink*

Popsockets Haul

I learned about the popsockets from my colleague. I was intrigued and she showed me how to used it. Then, I realized I want one!!! Hahaha So I searched a lot of online shops and the one who has the best offer was from Georgina Sasha site. Looks legit than the others.

I bought three popsockets. The donut design was supposedly for my sister but I realized my mom need it the most. Haha She has a new phone back then and a little bigger for her hands. The good vibes design was for my hubby.
