Happy Birthday Hunny @ Tagaytay

It's our first time to celebrate his birthday together. We decided to take a visit to Pink Sister at Tagaytay to give thanks and praises to our God Almighty. :) We should always be thankful for the blessing we received everyday. This a perfect opportunity to do it, that's why we took that chance.

Then, we headed to Antonio's Grill @ Tagaytay for lunch. (I'm going to post a separate blog for it.) Best Pinakbet Rice Ever!!!

After eating lunch, we went back to Manila and off to Rockwell to watch a movie. Road trip lang ang trip at pagudad. hahahaha We watched "This Means War". We also had a free kitkat from watching the movie. Cool. I love freebies. The movie is a feel good movie. It's funny and an action packed all in the same time.

The last stop, we went to A Veneto Pizzeria Ristorante @ BF homes, P'que City for dinner. Best pizza and pasta from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. (another separate blog worthy experience) I'll link it here don't worry! :)

Friday The 13th Adventure (Tagaytay)

Last Friday the 13th, we had our post Christmas party. It was held in Tagaytay City. This post is a little late, I guess?! But who cares, it is my blog. I can post anything or anytime I want. hahaha I want to share our experience towards that moment.

I was with my college buddies. It was a rare occasion that we are complete. Let me start my story. So here it goes...

We met up at Makati to ride a bus to go to Alabang. It was a funny moment that we were on a hurry so we could catch up with the shuttle (van) via SLEX to Tagaytay. We succeed! Desperate people go for desperate measures; we rode an ordinary bus take note, STANDING! until Alabang. During the trip to Tagaytay, we were busy eating pizza from Greenwich. Then, when we arrived, it was freezing cold. Again, we rode another transportation called jeep. Afterwards, it was dark; we walk or run? hihihi until we reached the place, The Villa Hotel & Restaurant. We stayed there for a night. Like college days, we talked, ate, drunk and sang until the sun came up. It was fun fun fun the whole night.

The next day, another adventure. We enjoyed our free breakfast. For lunch, we went to Mushroom Burger and our friend Jona treated us. Thank you! Non-stop kwentuhan will always be the best bonding moment. The days with them will always be bitin and sad to say Good bye. =( Our last stop was buying a perfume in Festival Mall. I bought Into the Blue by Escada. We also tried flying some lanterns but epic failed because of the weather. It rained that time. Boo! Anyways, I am looking forward to our next getaway.

To my friends, they will have always a place in my heart. Love them. =)

In eat's a date, first

Milky and Sunny @ Kapitolyo, Pasig City

You want to know the sunniest resto in the metro? It’s “Milky & Sunny” in Pasig City. They serve all day breakfast meal like cereals, rice-egg meals, pasta and many more. The place is really cozy. It has a lot of frames and cute stuff on it. It is blue and I love blue that’s why I enjoyed staying there.

I ordered Tapa with rice and egg, in short Tapsilog. Hehe I guess the price is a little bit pricey for a Rice-egg meal but anyways I want to try more of their food. The unlimited cereal is really cool though even though I’m not a cereal kind of a girl.

Surprise Birthday @Dillingers, Greenbelt 3

Surprise!

Surprise birthday party is fun to organize and to be invited in. It was really nerve cracking and the we-should-be-busted-before-the-surprise feeling goes on and on until the day has come. One of my friends plan a surprise birthday celebration for his boyfriend @ Dillinger’s Steak and Brew in Greenbelt 3, Makati City. It was just a small group of friends.

The plan: the birthday boy and his girlfriend will arrive first at the place to “just eat lunch” alone without us. They seated in the VIP room of the restaurant so when we arrived, we will occupy the seats near the front door. Then, when we are ready and complete time to spill the beans and sing the birthday song.

The day of the surprise, it was I guess successful! Hahaha I enjoyed eating Buffalo wings, pasta, cake and a lot more. This time I have my camera with me for a better quality of the photos. Check out the photos! =)

After the celebration, we decided to watch a movie and go to mass together. Hurray for the success of our surprise! I hope my friend has enjoyed it and cherish this experience. I wish someday I could experience this. Hi friends! Surprise me next time? How about this coming May 2012? hihihihi

BullChef @Pasig City

BULLCHEF is a small restaurant in the heart of Pasig City. They offer a lot of varieties of food that is associated with beef. Bulalo is their specialty. The first time we have eaten here was truly unforgettable. I ordered "Bullusok", it is a sizzling beef with gravy on it plus veggies as a side dish, and it really tastes good. They gave us free soup. It was a bulalo soup; it is like a teaser for their specialty. I also enjoyed the small bone marrow included in our sizzling. Oh hypertension! Hahaha (eating too much bone marrow will surely listed you as a candidate for hypertension awardee, so control.) The funny thing was the way they served the bulalo, once the order has arrived the waitress/waiter will blow a whistle. Then, people on the staff area will clap and shout, “BULLCHEF”. I was shocked but it’s cool. Something extraordinary.Try it!

In ballet, family

The Nutcracker

Every year my sister usually have a ballet show during summer and holidays. Of course! We're always there to watch her and support her ballet career. This time she danced with the Philippine Ballet Theater in Nutcracker at CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines). It was so nice. I don't have photos inside the theater because it was prohibited but in the theater hall it was alright to take some photos with the cast and with the decors. hohoho Did I mention Santa Claus is also there? I can feel the spirit of the holidays.

After the show, we went to Kimono Ken at Bluewave, Macapagal Avenue. I ate a lot of Japanese food. I know, even if it's dinner time I ate like a queen not a pauper. hahaha Cani Salad, California Maki, Mango Shake, Beef something (forgot the name), Tempura and Miso soup were one of our usual orders on a Japanese Restos. I love eating. =)

Last weekend, someone special did something special for me. hihihi He told me he will cook for me and he did... The dish was "Fettuccine Alfredo with Garlic Bread". *sweeeetttt*

Dark of the Moon

Transformers - Dark of the Moon was one of the most awaited movie of the year. Of course! We must watched it. The first weekend of the movie was surely a hit. Many people also wants to watch it like us. One of my friends bought the tickets earlier, though our seats was not that good because we were on the left almost front seat, the only available seat for that time and day and cinema. My gad! The crowd was wild. The line was long. It was really a blockbuster movie.

Last venue was at my friend's house, we just said "Hi" and left afterwards because it's late and I need to go home. hihihi

Brother's Burger

One Tuesday afternoon, I'm sick. hehehe I did not went to my work for that day. Instead, I went to Brother's Burger with Him. Lunch time! Two hungry cuties went to Brother's Burger to eat juicy charbroiled burgers. OMG! Look at my order, it's huge. hahaha Santa Fe burger for me, with potato wedges and sprite on the side. It really made my stomach full. Look at his order below, it made me a little bit embarrassed. :)) Ang laki ng order ko, PG (patay-gutom much?). haha

College should be taken seriously it will prepare you for the real world but of course! Don't forget to have fun, meet new friends and explore new things. For all the college students, who will be entering the corporate world, I welcome you to the the real world. Life is just starting. This is reality. You are now in charge of your life like ME? hehehe

Anyways, it's my sister graduation. I took a vacation leave to be her photographer. I did not expect that my other batch mates will be there too, so instead of just watching the program I catch up with them. A little talk here and there. Thanks to them, I was not bored.

My sister graduated grade school. She has an award, "BEST STAGE PERFORMER". She likes to join almost all the activities. Pabida! :)) Then, she also sang The Climb with her classmate during the graduation ceremony. Guess what? I did not recognized that it was her so I did not took a video of it. Sorry, my bad! :c After the graduation, we ate at Pancake House. Actually our first plan was in Hap Chan but my mom passed by and did not recognized it, I am very hungry so the nearest resto I saw was Pancake house. Then, we saw an artista. I know his first name is Jake but we can't remember his last name. Damn! his HOT! :))

In birthday, family

Momma's Birthday

We celebrated her birthday a day earlier. It's Eat-All-You-Can day! Woooh. Another cheat day, because I'm on a diet. Seriously, I'm on a diet. Believe me or not, it's really me on a diet expect for that day.hehehe We ate at Yakimix in Hobbies of Asia (Macapacal). For almost an hour, we waited. Yes, we're the first on the waiting list that is why we stayed. Many Koreans, Chinese and Japanese were also dinning in that place. The opening hours for Yakimix is 11am-2pm then they resume at 6pm-11pm. My mom, sister and I were on time, 6 o'clock to be exact we arrived. On the other hand,we just can't believe how fast people came in, we ended up on a waiting list but it's really worth the wait.

I was so full I can't even explain the feeling. Gluttony day for us. Too much of Japanese and Korean food. I think I won't eat for few months especially in a Japanese Restaurant. Until now I can feel the feeling of a bloated stomach, close to puking and hard to breathe. haha. TAKAW ko kasi. Well, no one can blame me. It's eat all you can resto so what should I do? Eat like a construction worker and taste all the cuisine. Yeah! the only way to enjoy food is to explore the goodness of taste that burst in our mouth. Happy Eating!
