The Canonical Interview is usually held at the Diocese of your Church or your location. The procedure depends on every Church or parish priest of your community. In our case, we were asked to go to Diocese of Paranaque for our Canonical Interview, even our church is in Alabang, Muntinlupa. It is only scheduled every Tuesday, with first come first serve basis. So we arrived early around 9 o'clock in the morning and we were in the 5th or 6th inline. We were asked to answer sets of questions about each other in the questionnaires given. Let me recall the questions, it goes something like these but not in exact words:

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love. Well, it is kinda overrated to have dates, flowers and chocolates from your love ones during this day. In my opinion, we can celebrate love everyday. No one is limiting us to do it and show it everyday. It will be nice if your love one is making you feel special every moment you are together. Love makes the world go round.

This Heart's day was just an ordinary Tuesday but I had an extra ordinary conversation on the phone and voice call with my beau. Although we have not seen each other for couple of days because he had an operation during first week of February, he is staying in his province for a faster recovery. I miss seeing him almost everyday.

Post Valentine's Day celebration, he gave me sweets. Chocolates! During the weekends I went to visit him. I will post another blog for it.  =)

We watched movies back to back. The first movie was "The Vow". The Second was "Unofficially Your", the movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. It was really hilarious, full of love and drama. All of the people was really laughing out loud especially us. It made me cry, laugh and kilig at the same time. Good job! 

Then, we sad farewell to my hunny and I will see him again for a couple of days. I pray for his recovery as always and I hope you do too. Thanks! :)

Every year since I became more responsible in my life (just agree.hehe), I started by using a planner. Yes! my handy dandy notebook like in the show Blues Clues. It helps me to be organize in all the aspects of my life especially the events that could or might happen. It keeps me on track. It is really helpful. My planners are slash a little excerpt of my diary. I put some notes and short "quotes made by myself". Just to inform me about my feelings on that day. There are times I am so lost in reality, it teaches to look back on the days that have passed by to let me realize and appreciate life in great new heights.

This planner is from Tomato. I bought it before Christmas and when I decided to buy my bestfriend the same thing as a gift for her, it was disappointing because it was out of the stock already. *sad moment for me here*

I hope in the end of the year we can filled this with happy memories, funny moments and adventures together. As we look back and open it again, we will share stories and laughter in what we have been thru over this year.

One spontaneous getaway! Yes, this is it! The plan was to go to Batangas but at the very moment, the plan was changed and all of the sudden we were on the bus, on our way to Subic, Zambales. Wooow! 180 degrees turn for a plan. I never thought that we will be on our way somewhere in north. The adventure starts!

 

The day we have arrived was one rainy day. I want to have fun and frolic at the beach unfortunately, the weather was not good enough. I know. That's why, we bought a lot of groceries for the long night. Grilled some pork chop and fish. We swam on the depths of the swimming pool on their club house. hahahaha It was dark and cold. hahaha A little scary but we need to do what we should really do, SWIM SWIM SWIM. Even though the weather was cold and a little gloomy. I remember the night we need to get back to the house, where we stayed, we walk on the creepy road while bats were flying here and there. hahaha

Before sleeping, we watched a movie, I am too sleepy to finish the movie, I fell asleep. The next day, we went to the beach, played video games, played game cards and never ending stories to shared to each other. I really had fun. I went home almost midnight. So tired but there was a smile on my face. I am looking forward to the next outing with my friends. Whooo!

Last weekend, someone special did something special for me. hihihi He told me he will cook for me and he did... The dish was "Fettuccine Alfredo with Garlic Bread". *sweeeetttt*

The first thing first! Buy all the necessary ingredients! Ready the tools for cooking! Start cooking! while me? I'm just slicing the bread.hehehe He did all the job. I did the tasting and eating part. :)) Of course! the documenting every events in this history of our lives was also my job! Kudos to me! hihihi

The hardest part was waiting for the food to be serve. I think this was my first time to experience someone, cooking pasta for me. It was nice feeling. Thank you for letting me experience your delicious pasta. 

SHOE SALE! Woooh! It was a good time to go gaga over shoes! Seriously, people (mostly ladies) where there to have a fight for what they want. SHOES! whether flats, stilettos, wedges, boots, sleepers or platforms, they were there ready to attack and I am one of them. hehehe

We spend our whole afternoon roaming and wandering for the right perfect shoes. I'll post it on my next entry. Wait for it. I forgot to mention the event, I'm SHOE in love, held in NBC Tent, The Fort. We have had a great time shopping!

Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be easy. You expect it to be a world of roses and laughs and perfect moments that you find only in movies. You expect her to always say the right thing, and always know exactly how you feel, or exactly how to react to it. You expect her to calm you down when you’re yelling or to chase you when you run away. You expect so much that you feel entirely, and utterly defeated when something doesn’t exactly match up with all your plans. But that’s the thing. Love isn’t a plan. It doesn’t have a certain beginning and it certainly has no end or visible finish line to those deeply in it.

Love happens; it is so incredibly messy. People around you can’t comprehend why you do the things you do, or why you fight so hard for something that seems to cause you so much pain, because simply, they can’t see. They can’t see the invisible ring of insanity that surrounds you when you’re in love. It’s inconvenient and painful and devastating at times, but we can’t live without it. What you don’t learn is how hard love is. How much work it takes. How much of ourselves we have to put into it. How it isn’t worth it until we are complete and utter idiots about it.

Love isn’t her calming you down when you yell. It’s her yelling, just as loud, just as hard, right back at you, right in your face to wake you up and to keep you grounded. It isn’t her/him bringing you roses everyday or cute things that make your relationship appear more presentable.

It’s after a long fight, that drains the life and bones right out of you both, and yet her showing up at your door the next morning anyway. It’s not her saying all the right things or knowing exactly how to handle you. So no, it’s not her caressing your hair and telling you everything is going to be alright. It’s her standing there, admitting she’s just as scared as you are. You have to remember that with love, you’re not the only one involved. You’ve unknowingly put your life, your heart into the palms of another persons hands and said, here. Do what you will. Mash it into mince meat. Or forget I ever handed it to you. As long as you have it.

It makes us crazy. It makes reality invisible and it erases all the lines that we shouldn’t cross. Because love isn’t about fencing ourselves in; feeling safe, feeling sure about the future. It’s about scaring the shit out of every nerve in our body, but pushing forward anyway. Because all the fighting and all the tears and all the uncertainty is worth it. And it’s a hell of a lot better, than being 100% happy without someone to show us that there is a world of a difference between feeling ‘happy’ and feeling whole.

Do you believe in "love at first sight"? Well, I do. I remember the time I saw you. I fell in love in just a snap. You made me want you more. Then, as the day goes by I suddenly have the urge to have you badly in my arms. I just can’t stop thinking about you, almost every day and every night. You are present in my freaking mind. Why? Why did you let me? Now, my day is incomplete without thinking of you. Is this too much? I guess it is. I am putting destiny into my hands. I should succeed. I will. I am doing my best to be by your side. It took me awhile to figure out all of this mayhem. I thought I will never have you. Through hard work, patience and prayers, I have received such a wonderful gift. I am totally thankful for it. I thought dreams will stay as a dream but I am wrong. I can say... “I am blessed to have you now here.”  Finally, my search is over.  We can share memories together. Explore new things. Have the heart-pumping-adrenaline-rush adventures. See the beauty of the world in high definition. Those days will be worth it. <3

Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes. She has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who has a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card since she was twelve.

Find a girl who reads. You’ll know that she does because she will always have an unread book in her bag.She’s the one lovingly looking over the shelves in the bookstore, the one who quietly cries out when she finds the book she wants. You see the weird chick sniffing the pages of an old book in a second hand book shop? That’s the reader. They can never resist smelling the pages, especially when they are yellow.

She’s the girl reading while waiting in that coffee shop down the street. If you take a peek at her mug, the non-dairy creamer is floating on top because she’s kind of engrossed already. Lost in a world of the author’s making. Sit down. She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted. Ask her if she likes the book. Buy her another cup of coffee.

Let her know what you really think of Murakami. See if she got through the first chapter of Fellowship. Understand that if she says she understood James Joyce’s Ulysses she’s just saying that to sound intelligent. 

Ask her if she loves Alice or she would like to be Alice.

It’s easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books for her birthday, for Christmas and for anniversaries. Give her the gift of words, in poetry, in song. Give her Neruda, Pound, Sexton, Cummings. Let her know that you understand that words are love. Understand that she knows the difference between books and reality but by god, she’s going to try to make her life a little like her favorite book. It will never be your fault if she does.

She has to give it a shot somehow.

Lie to her. If she understands syntax, she will understand your need to lie. Behind words are other things: motivation, value, nuance, dialogue. It will not be the end of the world.

Fail her. Because a girl who reads knows that failure always leads up to the climax. Because girls who understand that all things will come to end. That you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two.

Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilightseries.

If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She’ll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are. You will propose on a hot air balloon. Or during a rock concert. Or very casually next time she’s sick. Over Skype.

You will smile so hard you will wonder why your heart hasn’t burst and bled out all over your chest yet. You will write the story of your lives, have kids with strange names and even stranger tastes. She will introduce your children to the Cat in the Hat and Aslan, maybe in the same day. You will walk the winters of your old age together and she will recite Keats under her breath while you shake the snow off your boots.

Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then you’re better off alone. If you want the world and the worlds beyond it, date a girl who reads.

Or better yet, date a girl who writes.

Do you really need a second chance? Well, maybe yes. Lemme think… OKEY! I hope you don’t waste it. I admit, I’m a person full of walls like Great Wall of China. It may take me so long to trust you again but if you’re really willing to cross that wall just to prove me you deserve the chance well I’ll give it to you fair and squire. But once I doubt your intensions, it will be longer than you think. It depends on situations, but time heals. You will never know, what might happen. I’m always willing to give another chance just don’t take advantage of it. Next time, I suggest you try harder. Keep hoping and believing, soon it will be your chance to change what was destroyed before. Then, it’s time to let go of the past.

I’ll tell you something, 3 words : 8 letters. “GO TO HELL!” hahaha joke. I’m happy now. I hope you’re not. Joke again.hehe Stop breaking hearts, it’s hard to mend someone’s heart. It may take days, months or even years so be careful please. It’s a fragile part of our human nature, always handle it with care.

I don’t have an ex-boyfriend that’s why ex-crushes na lang, pangmadamihan labanan kase madami akong ex-crush.hahaha Alam nyo ba dati, ayoko ng mapuputi kasi naman I’m morena then when I reached college that’s the only time I appreciated the kaputiaan of guys. I like nerds. I’m into smart and funny guys, hindi lang handsome. Usually, I like it when they are confident with themselves. Minsan talaga yung mga ex-crushes ko mukhang ako lang nakakacrush. Yoko ng may kaagaw. Hahaha If I know that other girls are fancying him too. Hindi na ko nagiging crush pag tagal. It dependes. Number one stalker nyo din ako. Pag wala ako magawa pinupuntahan ko mga pages nyo sa FB tapos kinakausap ko picture nyo. Kinakamusta, oh dib a? Caring aketch. Nahihiya na ko. Lantad na lantad na dito pagiging stalker ko.
