Another food tripping happened to me last March 24, 2012. Super late? Hahaha But I believe it’s better late than never. (Palusot)

Who says no when you’re invited to a Food Fair? Well, I guess no one. Especially if your ticket is free. Thanks to my bestfriend, she’s the one who invited me to go with her.

 Best Food Forward is a benefit food and drink fair showcasing an array of the best in the food and drink industry. It was held in NBC Tent, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It was a 2-day affair with lots of lots of food. I was like going insane picking the best food ever. There are plenty of choices to food, drinks and even desserts. How I wish I could taste everything.

We arrived there around lunch time. My best friend ordered the Crispy Belly with rice. Her officemate ordered Manang's Chicken. (Sorry no photo for it) I ordered the Angus Beef Tapa with egg and rice. I am really a fan of beef. That's why I ordered it. It taste good. Yummy! For dessert, I bought Mochiko ice cream, cookie dough flavor. They bought Gelato, it is also an ice cream but much creamier than regular ice cream. For hunny, I bought Zaricho Longanisa as a pasalubong. It is his fave.

I enjoyed hanging out with the people who likes food. Hooreeyy! Next year, I hope there will be another Best Food Forward. If you will attend make sure to bring a hungry stomach and a full wallet. XD

Sometimes in life, we need to take a break and take it slow to enjoy moment like this. A weekend to wind, dine and relax. I visited my sick hunny @ Lipa, Batangas. We spend our weekends together cooking, eating and watching dvds. It was a simple but fun bonding experience. 

You want to know the sunniest resto in the metro? It’s “Milky & Sunny” in Pasig City. They serve all day breakfast meal like cereals, rice-egg meals, pasta and many more. The place is really cozy. It has a lot of frames and cute stuff on it. It is blue and I love blue that’s why I enjoyed staying there.

 I ordered Tapa with rice and egg, in short Tapsilog. Hehe I guess the price is a little bit pricey for a Rice-egg meal but anyways I want to try more of their food. The unlimited cereal is really cool though even though I’m not a cereal kind of a girl.

Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love. Well, it is kinda overrated to have dates, flowers and chocolates from your love ones during this day. In my opinion, we can celebrate love everyday. No one is limiting us to do it and show it everyday. It will be nice if your love one is making you feel special every moment you are together. Love makes the world go round.

This Heart's day was just an ordinary Tuesday but I had an extra ordinary conversation on the phone and voice call with my beau. Although we have not seen each other for couple of days because he had an operation during first week of February, he is staying in his province for a faster recovery. I miss seeing him almost everyday.

Post Valentine's Day celebration, he gave me sweets. Chocolates! During the weekends I went to visit him. I will post another blog for it.  =)

We watched movies back to back. The first movie was "The Vow". The Second was "Unofficially Your", the movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. It was really hilarious, full of love and drama. All of the people was really laughing out loud especially us. It made me cry, laugh and kilig at the same time. Good job! 

Then, we sad farewell to my hunny and I will see him again for a couple of days. I pray for his recovery as always and I hope you do too. Thanks! :)

Every year since I became more responsible in my life (just agree.hehe), I started by using a planner. Yes! my handy dandy notebook like in the show Blues Clues. It helps me to be organize in all the aspects of my life especially the events that could or might happen. It keeps me on track. It is really helpful. My planners are slash a little excerpt of my diary. I put some notes and short "quotes made by myself". Just to inform me about my feelings on that day. There are times I am so lost in reality, it teaches to look back on the days that have passed by to let me realize and appreciate life in great new heights.

This planner is from Tomato. I bought it before Christmas and when I decided to buy my bestfriend the same thing as a gift for her, it was disappointing because it was out of the stock already. *sad moment for me here*

I hope in the end of the year we can filled this with happy memories, funny moments and adventures together. As we look back and open it again, we will share stories and laughter in what we have been thru over this year.

Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be easy. You expect it to be a world of roses and laughs and perfect moments that you find only in movies. You expect her to always say the right thing, and always know exactly how you feel, or exactly how to react to it. You expect her to calm you down when you’re yelling or to chase you when you run away. You expect so much that you feel entirely, and utterly defeated when something doesn’t exactly match up with all your plans. But that’s the thing. Love isn’t a plan. It doesn’t have a certain beginning and it certainly has no end or visible finish line to those deeply in it.

Love happens; it is so incredibly messy. People around you can’t comprehend why you do the things you do, or why you fight so hard for something that seems to cause you so much pain, because simply, they can’t see. They can’t see the invisible ring of insanity that surrounds you when you’re in love. It’s inconvenient and painful and devastating at times, but we can’t live without it. What you don’t learn is how hard love is. How much work it takes. How much of ourselves we have to put into it. How it isn’t worth it until we are complete and utter idiots about it.

Love isn’t her calming you down when you yell. It’s her yelling, just as loud, just as hard, right back at you, right in your face to wake you up and to keep you grounded. It isn’t her/him bringing you roses everyday or cute things that make your relationship appear more presentable.

It’s after a long fight, that drains the life and bones right out of you both, and yet her showing up at your door the next morning anyway. It’s not her saying all the right things or knowing exactly how to handle you. So no, it’s not her caressing your hair and telling you everything is going to be alright. It’s her standing there, admitting she’s just as scared as you are. You have to remember that with love, you’re not the only one involved. You’ve unknowingly put your life, your heart into the palms of another persons hands and said, here. Do what you will. Mash it into mince meat. Or forget I ever handed it to you. As long as you have it.

It makes us crazy. It makes reality invisible and it erases all the lines that we shouldn’t cross. Because love isn’t about fencing ourselves in; feeling safe, feeling sure about the future. It’s about scaring the shit out of every nerve in our body, but pushing forward anyway. Because all the fighting and all the tears and all the uncertainty is worth it. And it’s a hell of a lot better, than being 100% happy without someone to show us that there is a world of a difference between feeling ‘happy’ and feeling whole.

When I'm on my way to my office, I saw an advertisement along Edsa about this zebra print watches from Swatch. Love at first sight. I want! I will add this to my wish list for my birthday. So to anyone, friends, family, classmates, tumblrista or special love ones. Hi! I'll be ecstatic to received one for my birthday. It's either the blue or the pink one, alright? Clear? hihihihi. I'm in love with wild prints! Yes. I am. :)

The first encounter with the new Starbucks logo. It's cool to see it. I did not recognized it until one of my friends told me. :)) I was busy that time listening and talking with them. Of course, I told myself, "I need to blog this!!!" *then took pictures of the new logo*

When we hang around SB we usually just chill then talk then talk then zip then talk. hahaha In short, catching up with the events happening in our lives. Cool. I love talking and learning from the experiences of other people they help us to be more cautious. It can also help us to have a better decision in life. Agree? That's why I enjoy long conversation with different people, with different culture and with different aspect in life. It can make us to be a well-rounded person and it can establish our communication skills. Coffee time. =)

Do you believe in "love at first sight"? Well, I do. I remember the time I saw you. I fell in love in just a snap. You made me want you more. Then, as the day goes by I suddenly have the urge to have you badly in my arms. I just can’t stop thinking about you, almost every day and every night. You are present in my freaking mind. Why? Why did you let me? Now, my day is incomplete without thinking of you. Is this too much? I guess it is. I am putting destiny into my hands. I should succeed. I will. I am doing my best to be by your side. It took me awhile to figure out all of this mayhem. I thought I will never have you. Through hard work, patience and prayers, I have received such a wonderful gift. I am totally thankful for it. I thought dreams will stay as a dream but I am wrong. I can say... “I am blessed to have you now here.”  Finally, my search is over.  We can share memories together. Explore new things. Have the heart-pumping-adrenaline-rush adventures. See the beauty of the world in high definition. Those days will be worth it. <3

Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the prettiest of them all? Is it me? NOT! I’m not. Well, some people say I’m pretty but for me I’m just lucky to have good genes from my parents. I still need to improve a lot. Inside and outside. I need to lose a lot of weight. I’m happy for who I am. But I’m not contented physically. Like every girl encountering, I still have my insecurities. I’m trying and wanting for a better me. Just give me time and motivation. Soon I’ll be reborn. A new person… confident and successful. Looking forward for a better future.

I want to tell you everything. Yes, true. But unfortunately you’re so busy with your life. I’m scared that you might not want to hear it. You don’t want to listen to every word I will blurt from my mouth. You might not like me after telling the story of my life. I want to share all the mishaps and adventures in my world. I want you to be part of it. Maybe soon or time might not come. However, I’m still not losing hope. I believe someday we’ll know everything about each other.

I remember the day I met you, it was my first day wearing my St. Paul uniform. Then, suddenly the LRT had a code yellow or code red, it means problem. I was really struggling wearing my uniform. Hahaha it was too girly and I need to be prime and proper, and I wasn’t like that. When I don’t know what to do and still figuring out how will I go to my school and I’m totally late for my first class. You showed up. Savior. It was really a blessing in disguise because I don’t know any alternative way. You came up to me and helped me. I’m just following you even though I don’t know your name. You even held my hand; I was like a lost kid, naive and uncertain in every action. Before I realize, it took me some time to ask your name. Funny though, I trusted you even I know nothing about you. Thank God for being kind and helpful. I can’t anymore recall your face or your name. However, this memory with you for a short period of time will last. Thank you!

Be strong. Never forget to pray. It can change everything. Just pray and trust God. If ever you want to talk to someone, I’m here. I’ll listen and I can be your shoulder to cry on. Cheer up! Everything will be alright have a little faith.

Seriously, I have a lot of fave memories, when I smile alone, sometimes random memories keep on flashing back again and again. I wish that I could still be there once more, reliving my life all over again without any regrets.

These are the person, who are special to me that every time I imagine if I’ll lost them, I get emotional and my life will be a wreck. Yes, total wreck. I can’t afford losing them both. I’m not an affectionate person I know, but I want to express my love to them, to her and to him. I want to thank them. I’m and always grateful that they have been part of my life. I miss them. I love them so much. It took me some time to move on with my life before. I might not be the sweetest person but I’m trying to be for them. I want them to be proud and tell their friends that I’m now a grown lady. No one can replace them in my life, even my friends. I always pray for them to have a good health and long life. I want them to see how I’m now. I hope they’ll see me successful with my career, with my life and with my family. It breaks my heart whenever I miss them and how seldom I see them. I always have time for them. ALWAYS. <3
