My sister graduated grade school. She has an award, "BEST STAGE PERFORMER". She likes to join almost all the activities. Pabida! :)) Then, she also sang The Climb with her classmate during the graduation ceremony. Guess what? I did not recognized that it was her so I did not took a video of it. Sorry, my bad! :c After the graduation, we ate at Pancake House. Actually our first plan was in Hap Chan but my mom passed by and did not recognized it, I am very hungry so the nearest resto I saw was Pancake house. Then, we saw an artista. I know his first name is Jake but we can't remember his last name. Damn! his HOT! :))

We celebrated her birthday a day earlier. It's Eat-All-You-Can day! Woooh. Another cheat day, because I'm on a diet. Seriously, I'm on a diet. Believe me or not, it's really me on a diet expect for that day.hehehe We ate at Yakimix in Hobbies of Asia (Macapacal). For almost an hour, we waited. Yes, we're the first on the waiting list that is why we stayed. Many Koreans, Chinese and Japanese were also dinning in that place. The opening hours for Yakimix is 11am-2pm then they resume at 6pm-11pm. My mom, sister and I were on time, 6 o'clock to be exact we arrived. On the other hand,we just can't believe how fast people came in, we ended up on a waiting list but it's really worth the wait.

I was so full I can't even explain the feeling. Gluttony day for us. Too much of Japanese and Korean food. I think I won't eat for few months especially in a Japanese Restaurant. Until now I can feel the feeling of a bloated stomach, close to puking and hard to breathe. haha. TAKAW ko kasi. Well, no one can blame me. It's eat all you can resto so what should I do? Eat like a construction worker and taste all the cuisine. Yeah! the only way to enjoy food is to explore the goodness of taste that burst in our mouth. Happy Eating!

The first encounter with the new Starbucks logo. It's cool to see it. I did not recognized it until one of my friends told me. :)) I was busy that time listening and talking with them. Of course, I told myself, "I need to blog this!!!" *then took pictures of the new logo*

When we hang around SB we usually just chill then talk then talk then zip then talk. hahaha In short, catching up with the events happening in our lives. Cool. I love talking and learning from the experiences of other people they help us to be more cautious. It can also help us to have a better decision in life. Agree? That's why I enjoy long conversation with different people, with different culture and with different aspect in life. It can make us to be a well-rounded person and it can establish our communication skills. Coffee time. =)

I am not scared of changing my hairstyle. I have done short to long or wavy to straight hair but one major dilemma is, "What suits me the best?". For these pass few months I am coping the hairstyle of Saab Magalona. hahaha Yes, I am a fan of her hair. Messy but in a good way. On the other hand, I am not Saab, who can carry a messy hair with confidence. That's why I am giving Saab a two thumbs up! Rock on!

The calamities that happened to Japan was very devastating. I saw the tsunami hit Japan live via live stream on the internet. We were all busy working by that time, then suddenly one of my officemates saw the live stream and all of us were very shocked. It's like I am watching a movie, an end-of-the-world kind of movie. It's so surreal. 

Earthquake - 8.9 magnitude. It made the day a bit faster for some split seconds.

Tsunami - water ate the island of northeaster of Japan. Almost more that 10,000 were found dead, some are still missing. 

Fire -  burning buildings and industrial factories.

Radiation - from the nuclear power plant that is overheating.

Natural calamities lately were too much as we expect. It's all happening in a blink of an aye and everything is exaggerated. Is this the way for mother nature to take revenge? To let us pay for the damages that human being has done for her? We need to cooperate and unite to hear the cry of mother nature to us. We need to change our ways and live our lives. We will never know what will happen next.

The last day of February was spend with Therese (a friend from college and my forever seatmate), the night before we were at her sister's debut. I was included in the 18th treasures. I enjoyed the party. I'm like superwoman that night, living a double life because at the same time there was an event here and there. Gaad. I'm good. I juggled them like a boss. hahaha Tere decided to stay at our house for the night. We kept on talking and catching up with our lives. We ended up talking until 3 o'clock or 4 o'clock in the morning. Talkative? Yes, we are! Never ending stories. Our energy was low and we decided to sleep. Then, continued talking from the moment we woke up. Ate breakfast, watched "EASY A", ate lunch, watched funny videos from YouTube "Rich Kid" and took photos from my web cam. 

We lost internet connection for a long period of time. It's also getting late, she went home. It's been a while since I have a bonding time "one-on-one" with Therese! I miss you guurrl!  See yah around. =)

Jona and her high school friend went to the venue earlier that day. I just came two hours before the concert starts. Thanks to Jona! We have seats reservation for A-card holder. (Flash-redial-flash-redial until someone will answer --  number one secret of expects. hahaha) Guess what? the line was a disaster. The teenage fans were all cranky enough to push people just to be the first to enter the venue. Mayhemmmm strikes!

We met new concert buddies. They were only high school students. I felt a little ashamed and asked myself, "Am i too old for this??" haha I had fun! :) Lucky day for jona because  someone let us use one of his extra VIP ticket and I was the chosen one. Instead of me, I gave it to jona! I think she enjoyed and she deserved it because she is a number-one-fan-of-WE THE KINGS!!! Yeah. Rock on! 

I woke up around 5am because I am going to jog with my two friends at The Fort. I am not used to exercise for a long period of time. Seriously, I had a hard time breathing. Geezz. I think, I'm really overweight. I felt I'm obese person running around High Street. Weak! I'm such a weakling. I need to trim those cellulite in my effin fatso body, that's why I decided to come with them to jog. I'm thankful I have someone like them, very supportive. Note to myself: Start to have healthy life and exercise more.

After the jogging event, my favorite part of this day, when we went to Mercato. It's like I've signed for the wrong program, because we ate. Is it weight gain program? haha Anyways, I have enjoyed eating. It's a passion. Especially, the free taste. Who would not resist to take a little taste of everything? 

Yummy food! I love to eat. Besides, it's morning and breakfast time. I have a free pass to eat like a king. hohoho I enjoyed jogging, eating and catching up with my friends (Kathleen and Elmo). We should do this more often. Healthy lifestyle! =)

As always, before and after Valentine's day there will be always a celebration. It's either my sister's birthday or my cousin's birthday. Besides that, my auntie and uncle also celebrates their birthdays this month of February. I think every week, there is a celebration No reason to be sad on Valentines day. As of now, I'm anti-Vday. hahaha Don't ask me why. Because I'll give 101 reasons why. Anyways, my sister turned twelve after Valentine's day. I bought her a white forest cake from Red Ribbon and my mom ordered some food from Ambers.

We have a large appetite that night. Sabi nga nila.. "ANG TUNAY NA CHICKS, NAKAKATATLONG EXTRA RICE...!"  hahahaha

Do you believe in "love at first sight"? Well, I do. I remember the time I saw you. I fell in love in just a snap. You made me want you more. Then, as the day goes by I suddenly have the urge to have you badly in my arms. I just can’t stop thinking about you, almost every day and every night. You are present in my freaking mind. Why? Why did you let me? Now, my day is incomplete without thinking of you. Is this too much? I guess it is. I am putting destiny into my hands. I should succeed. I will. I am doing my best to be by your side. It took me awhile to figure out all of this mayhem. I thought I will never have you. Through hard work, patience and prayers, I have received such a wonderful gift. I am totally thankful for it. I thought dreams will stay as a dream but I am wrong. I can say... “I am blessed to have you now here.”  Finally, my search is over.  We can share memories together. Explore new things. Have the heart-pumping-adrenaline-rush adventures. See the beauty of the world in high definition. Those days will be worth it. <3

Well, today? I just bummed around in our house. The coffee time with friends were postponed due their own appointment. Unfortunately, I don't have any back-up plan. After lunch, my mom went to her friend's house while my sister has a ballet class every Saturday. So I end up at home alone, not really alone but I'm like alone. Whatever. Moreover, I decided to watched "The Vampire Diaries". Will you believe that I spent my 6 whole hours just watching some parts of "The Vampire Diaries" (Season 1)? You should. 

When the time, I suddenly felt hunger. I rush to our kitchen cabinet to find something to eat. Then, I found the Cheezy Mac & Cheese. It's ready to cook. I'd microwave it. Ta-daaa! Time to eat. My first bite was awesome. On the other hand, the second spoonful of Cheezy Mac & Cheese, was not-so-like-the-first-one. Eew! I realize if I throw them away, I will waste a lot of food. I think and think. What's wrong with this food? Hmmm.. It lack something. *light bulb appeared*.. BACON!!! I cooked BACON! hahaha Success! I finished all of the food. Now, I won't feel guilty anymore. :) 

Pasinaya 2011 is a CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) open house festival, where it was open for public last February 6,2011. Many talented Filipinos showcase their brilliant performance here. One of them is my sister. Damn! I'm proud of it. haha Every year or every other year the ballet school of my sister were always invited to dance ballet. Yes! she's into classical music and I am not. 

 

 

It started around 4 o'clock to 5 o'clock in the afternoon. It is just a short performance from them. Compare to the other shows I have been. gad.. It was long. hahaha Thank God! We were not late. I thought we won't be able to watched their performance because of slight misunderstanding and difficulties. Then again, thanks to one of the mommies, who talked with the people handling the venue. They let us entered without any tickets. Cool right!?! =)

 After the show, we went to the mall of asia to eat dinner and to bought some stuff. Then, we went home. Well, on June my sister will have another recital on CCP. I think they haven't decided yet if its "hanzel or gretel" or "sugar plum princess". I'll upate you soon. =)

She’s the girl reading while waiting in that coffee shop down the street. If you take a peek at her mug, the non-dairy creamer is floating on top because she’s kind of engrossed already. Lost in a world of the author’s making. Sit down. She might give you a glare, as most girls who read do not like to be interrupted. Ask her if she likes the book. Buy her another cup of coffee.

Let her know what you really think of Murakami. See if she got through the first chapter of Fellowship. Understand that if she says she understood James Joyce’s Ulysses she’s just saying that to sound intelligent. 

Ask her if she loves Alice or she would like to be Alice.

It’s easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books for her birthday, for Christmas and for anniversaries. Give her the gift of words, in poetry, in song. Give her Neruda, Pound, Sexton, Cummings. Let her know that you understand that words are love. Understand that she knows the difference between books and reality but by god, she’s going to try to make her life a little like her favorite book. It will never be your fault if she does.

She has to give it a shot somehow.

Lie to her. If she understands syntax, she will understand your need to lie. Behind words are other things: motivation, value, nuance, dialogue. It will not be the end of the world.

Fail her. Because a girl who reads knows that failure always leads up to the climax. Because girls who understand that all things will come to end. That you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two.

Why be frightened of everything that you are not? Girls who read understand that people, like characters, develop. Except in the Twilightseries.

If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She’ll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are. You will propose on a hot air balloon. Or during a rock concert. Or very casually next time she’s sick. Over Skype.

You will smile so hard you will wonder why your heart hasn’t burst and bled out all over your chest yet. You will write the story of your lives, have kids with strange names and even stranger tastes. She will introduce your children to the Cat in the Hat and Aslan, maybe in the same day. You will walk the winters of your old age together and she will recite Keats under her breath while you shake the snow off your boots.

Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then you’re better off alone. If you want the world and the worlds beyond it, date a girl who reads.

Or better yet, date a girl who writes.

Pinoy Pride! Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's house was featured on MTV Cribs, a tv show that features about the cool and amazing mansions of famous celebrity. Compare to the other houses of famous celebrity, I think his house is a little bit simple but it has this cool fire place in his swimming pool. It could be a running water by day and a fireplace by night. He has a lot of pictures in his house. I like the painting in his dinning area, it's him imitating the pose of San Lorenzo Luis (not sure or santino?hahaha). Overall, thumbs up! love it. I'm proud for him. =)

Yey! We watched Green Hornet last Saturday. Before watching the movie, we were at the baptismal of the first born child of my mom's friend. We ate lunch then straight to the mall. "GREEN HORNET 3D".. I think this is my first movie for 2011. It's really funny! Let's just say I'm one of the people, who laughs aloud while watching this movie. I love action with a little bit of comedy on it. I recommend this movie!

Seth Rogen -- he's funny in many ways. He makes me laugh even in his simple lines that's what I can call comedian. The spoiled, party animal and egocentric person he is in the movie, he gave justice on it. From the start till the end, he wins my attention by of course making me laugh. I've seen him from the movie "Knock Up", he changed in drastic ways. He lose weight and looks good on him.  

Jay Chou -- the super talented side kick of Green Hornet a.k.a. KATO. He's hot! Damn! hahaha I'm looking forward to see him in Hollywood. Their tandem is perfect. He should be the protagonist of the movie. He has the killer moves. His character suits him. I want Green Hornet part 2...

Hello! Happy New Year! It's kinda late for the greeting. Well, what the heck! I don't care. :))

I know.. This is uberly late but I'll be "serious blogger" this year. I have more time now than last year. So last December 31,2010 and January 01,2011... as always I spend my New Year with my fun and loving family. Here are some pictures:

Major reason why I haven't post anything fun lately. Soon! Don't worry, I'll recover. I'll start posting here and there again. I can do this. Have faith! Hmm.. Wait, I think my blog needs a make over, right?! I'll do it this weekend, if ever I don't have some getaways with friends.

Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the prettiest of them all? Is it me? NOT! I’m not. Well, some people say I’m pretty but for me I’m just lucky to have good genes from my parents. I still need to improve a lot. Inside and outside. I need to lose a lot of weight. I’m happy for who I am. But I’m not contented physically. Like every girl encountering, I still have my insecurities. I’m trying and wanting for a better me. Just give me time and motivation. Soon I’ll be reborn. A new person… confident and successful. Looking forward for a better future.

I want to tell you everything. Yes, true. But unfortunately you’re so busy with your life. I’m scared that you might not want to hear it. You don’t want to listen to every word I will blurt from my mouth. You might not like me after telling the story of my life. I want to share all the mishaps and adventures in my world. I want you to be part of it. Maybe soon or time might not come. However, I’m still not losing hope. I believe someday we’ll know everything about each other.

He’s truly my first and greatest love. No one can change it. He made my life amazing and wonderful. It may seem to be ordinary but it has extraordinary events. I am thankful in His every single ways to make me feel ecstatic to live for another day. For the second life, for the second chances or for whatever He gave me. I’m so glad; life without Him is meaningless, blunt and incomplete. When I talked about God, I’m speechless. His goodness is amazing and unconditional. Because of my faith in Him, I was changed. I decided to become a better person with hope and perseverance. A life with God is a miracle. He find ways to make me feel better and be more positive in life. By recognizing your present, I always feel blessed and love. Thank you. I owe my life to you.

I remember the day I met you, it was my first day wearing my St. Paul uniform. Then, suddenly the LRT had a code yellow or code red, it means problem. I was really struggling wearing my uniform. Hahaha it was too girly and I need to be prime and proper, and I wasn’t like that. When I don’t know what to do and still figuring out how will I go to my school and I’m totally late for my first class. You showed up. Savior. It was really a blessing in disguise because I don’t know any alternative way. You came up to me and helped me. I’m just following you even though I don’t know your name. You even held my hand; I was like a lost kid, naive and uncertain in every action. Before I realize, it took me some time to ask your name. Funny though, I trusted you even I know nothing about you. Thank God for being kind and helpful. I can’t anymore recall your face or your name. However, this memory with you for a short period of time will last. Thank you!

Be strong. Never forget to pray. It can change everything. Just pray and trust God. If ever you want to talk to someone, I’m here. I’ll listen and I can be your shoulder to cry on. Cheer up! Everything will be alright have a little faith.

Seriously, I have a lot of fave memories, when I smile alone, sometimes random memories keep on flashing back again and again. I wish that I could still be there once more, reliving my life all over again without any regrets.

These are the person, who are special to me that every time I imagine if I’ll lost them, I get emotional and my life will be a wreck. Yes, total wreck. I can’t afford losing them both. I’m not an affectionate person I know, but I want to express my love to them, to her and to him. I want to thank them. I’m and always grateful that they have been part of my life. I miss them. I love them so much. It took me some time to move on with my life before. I might not be the sweetest person but I’m trying to be for them. I want them to be proud and tell their friends that I’m now a grown lady. No one can replace them in my life, even my friends. I always pray for them to have a good health and long life. I want them to see how I’m now. I hope they’ll see me successful with my career, with my life and with my family. It breaks my heart whenever I miss them and how seldom I see them. I always have time for them. ALWAYS. <3

Do you really need a second chance? Well, maybe yes. Lemme think… OKEY! I hope you don’t waste it. I admit, I’m a person full of walls like Great Wall of China. It may take me so long to trust you again but if you’re really willing to cross that wall just to prove me you deserve the chance well I’ll give it to you fair and squire. But once I doubt your intensions, it will be longer than you think. It depends on situations, but time heals. You will never know, what might happen. I’m always willing to give another chance just don’t take advantage of it. Next time, I suggest you try harder. Keep hoping and believing, soon it will be your chance to change what was destroyed before. Then, it’s time to let go of the past.

Dear someone,

I know, I’m guilty as charged. I guess I ‘m not the only one but mostly people do the same to other people. They judged the way they look, how they talk or how they act. For me, first impression really doesn’t last, because 80% of first impression is your or my own judgment especially for the new persons in our lives. I can’t help to think maybe he’s like that or like this but then again after few talks and get together events. Now I can say it’s all wrong. I judge him or maybe I judged you easy that I didn’t gave you the chance to reveal the real you. I’m so sorry. That’s why we should stop judging people easily, who are we to judge, only God has the privilege to judge everyone. Not you, not me nor not us. Next time let us be careful and avoid the same mistakes.

I’ll tell you something, 3 words : 8 letters. “GO TO HELL!” hahaha joke. I’m happy now. I hope you’re not. Joke again.hehe Stop breaking hearts, it’s hard to mend someone’s heart. It may take days, months or even years so be careful please. It’s a fragile part of our human nature, always handle it with care.

One big letter F for you. Hahaha Go f*ck youselves! Sorry but it annoys me if someone nags about this and that then, keeps on complaining. I have an advice, go drown yourselves! Then, die! No one wants to hear your voice, complaining about everything and you keep on repeating it 45 million times a day. Geezz! Get a life! Seriously, once or twice is fine. Trice is tolerable but 45 million times is too much. Haha If you want change, so start acting than blurting words. Nothing will change if you’re motor mouth just keep on going. ACT deary. Is it clear?? Second, stop intervening with my life. I hate it. I have my own brains so I’ll use it to make my own decisions. Ok? Wag pakilamera. Hahaha

As of now, I have no idea what I want in my life. I need a direction. I must find a path that I’ll enjoy. I’m still figuring out what the heck I’m doing here on this revolving universe. Sometimes, I’ll realize I am really clueless of what am I doing. Blah, blah ,blah – best words to describe my life right now. BLAH! It’s fun but there are days that I’m such a BLAH! An explainable feeling. A feeling I can’t surely explain.

However, time will reveal the missing parts of our lives. All prayers will be answered, if not, God has better plans for you, for us. Soon you’ll know what you want. Take it one step at the time. I’m still young as of now but maybe 10 years from now you’re the successful person you want to be. You have your own house, own car and own business. You’re good in what you’re doing so keep it up! I hope you have someone to spend your life with that time maybe I haven’t meet him or I haven’t realized it yet but soon, who knows. Life is so unpredictable. We love travelling so I’m sure you’ve been to many countries and places here in the Philippines. Never give up on exploring life. Sometimes, we need to pause for a break and look around and start appreciating every little blessing we received. Always have time for your family and for your friends and of course for God! Be thankful. Keep on praying, never stop.

Stay cheerful. Laugh out loud! Be adventures! Take a risk. No regrets. Patience is a virtue. Keep on believing and have faith. Stop hating, keep on loving. Watch out for your weight. Stop eating too much! Hahaha. Fight laziness! Run wild. Finally, less words more actions.

Years ago, during my nene days, he was one of my playmates. I'll see him in our neighborhood, everytime my great grandparents will fetched me from my parents' house. I'll just roam around in their compound especially in the afternoon. Then, we'll started playing. Water guns, fish ponds, bikes or whatever a child can think of how to play with. Yeah. I think we've done that. It was so happy days. Care free days. I have a confession to make. I have a little crush on him. :))) (landi mode bata pa lang) I could till remember the day that he smile on me, when I was on my way home (nasa tric pa ko noon, elementary pa lang ako). The day of my 7th birthday, I still have the gift he gave to me. OMG! a purple shirt with a small pocket and plaided prints on the lower part of the shirt. hahaha I dunno, why i still can't give it to others. haha Memorable eh. It was 13 years ago.

Now, I don't have any news from you. My last time I knew, you're in the US for migration. I guess you have your wonderful life out there. Take care. I'm thankful that you've been part of my childhood days. =)
